UPDATE: The judge has declared a mistrial in the trial of Melanie Eam Friday afternoon after jurors said they could not reach a verdict for the second time.
After not reaching a verdict earlier in the day, the hung jury was asked to continue deliberations in the trial of Melanie Eam. This is the last time the judge is able to ask the jury to deliberate again.

According to investigators, Eam was upset Barry had broken up with her.
