Pop up Christmas store serves needy families

Posted

A local organization steps up to give less fortunate families the Christmas miracle they need.

Since Thursday, some have waited in lines to participate in the Urban Youth Impact pop up Christmas store.

The annual event is held at the Roosevelt Full Service Center on Tamarind Avenue in West Palm Beach.

Parents signed up or in line will receive 3 toys, 1 plush animal, a book and stocking stuffers. The organization anticipates about 650 families will be served.

The public can donate to next week’s Riviera Beach event; it is closed to people living in the Stoneybrook community.

You may drop off donations at the organization’s office at 2823 N. Australian Avenue in West Palm Beach.
