SUBURBAN WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has identified a man shot and killed by a security guard at the Sunshine Flea Market in suburban West Palm Beach Saturday night.
Investigators said there was a confrontation between 29-year-old Juan Duque and a security guard around 7 p.m. at the flea market, located in the 1900 block of S. Military Trail.
Deputies said the security guard shot Duque in the torso. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 8:02 p.m.
Detectives from PBSO's Violent Crimes Division continue to investigate the shooting.
