WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A 37-year-old man was killed after he ran into oncoming traffic Wednesday morning in West Palm Beach, police said.
Sgt. David Lefont said the incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. in the 1900 block of Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.
Investigators said the pedestrian ran north to south into traffic and was struck by a gray Hyundai Elantra that was traveling east.
Lefont said the man, later identified as Thomas McKeon, appeared to have been a guest at the nearby Holiday Inn.
