WEST PALM BEACH, Fla-- Last minute holiday shoppers have been hitting the stores still searching for those last minute Christmas presents. With so many people out and about, police are warning shoppers of thieves trying to pickpocket.
Wednesday night, the Palm Beach Outlets was packed with last minute holiday shoppers. "I needed a couple of little stocking stuffers," said Ashlee Crunk.
It's just two days before Christmas and time is running out.
"I had everything else. I kind of ran out of time," said Crunk. "The lines weren't that bad. There's a lot of people around. You get in and you get out quickly."
Shoppers are on high alert, especially this time of year. "I never put anything in my back pockets when I'm out shopping in large crowds," said one shopper.
Here are some other things to keep in mind:
-Never leave your purse
-Make sure purse is closed
-Limit amount of crash and cards
-Consider crossbody purse
The Palm Beach Outlets say some of the crowds just days before Christmas can actually rival its Black Friday shopping crowds.
