Authorities continue to crackdown on businesses accused of human trafficking.
There's another fight happening to help victims at the center of it all. It's called The Hope Campaign. It was started 2 years ago to help people in the community recognize the signs of human and sex trafficking.
The Hope Campaign meets once a month at Shoppe 561. They train you to know signs to look for and the resources available to break the cycle.
“Demand is driving it so the more we can crack down on that is huge,” said shoppe 561 store owner Janelle Lang.
The human trafficking hot line is available 24/7 and can be reached at 1-888-373-7888
If you suspect human trafficking of a child in Florida you can call 1-800-96-ABUSE (962-2873).
