Sailfish Splash Waterpark hiring students for 2019 season

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — The Saifish Splash Waterpark is hiring students 16-years-old and older for a varity of seasonal student positions for the 2019 operating season.

"With the season set to kick off March 9, these student positions will fill up fast," said Todd Foust, Aquatics and Park Administrator.

The positions available are for lifeguards, customer service and senior customer service attendants.

The pay rates range from $8.46 cents to $10 an hour.

"Sailfish Splash Waterpark is one of Martin County's largest employers of students. We're proud to provide an opportunity for local students to learn critical job skills and gain work experience," said Martin County Parks and Recreation Director Kevin Abbate.

Students interested in guest service, concession operations or learning aquatic safety and first aid skills, should apply online.

The students must currently be enrolled in an educational institution to be eligible.

Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Certification is required for Student Lifeguard positions.

Certification classes will take place on Feb. 5-19 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
