UPDATE: West Palm Beach police Sgt. David Lefont said Tuesday a 17-year-old suspect surrendered at the police department.
He was transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center where he was booked on charges of armed burglary of a dwelling, grand theft and possession of a firearm by a minor.

EARLIER STORY: West Palm Beach police are searching for a burglar who broke into a home in broad daylight earlier this week.
Surveillance video shows a man, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, prowling around inside a home in the 3400 block of N. Flagler Dr.

Police said the crime happened Tuesday around 11 a.m., and no one was home at the time.
A police spokesperson said he doesn't believe anything was stolen.
