You most likely already have your SunFest tickets. The big party on the downtown waterfront starts just two days from now and temperatures are expected to be above normal.

There is a mood along the Intracoastal in West Palm Beach this week.

"I'm really excited," says Sandra Voyne. "Everytime we go out in the community we see people preparing."

It's shaping up to be a good one this year.

"It does help to be setting up under good conditions," says Melissa Sullivan with SunFest.

Sullivan says they're expecting more than 175,000 people over 5 days with above normal temperatures every day.

Perfect conditions for a festival, or maybe heat exhaustion. So they'll be ready with increased patrols on the grounds. Also a triage tent staffed with paramedics ready for issues like dehydration, overexposure, sunburn.

Organizers say if SunFest is in your plans, you should be ready too.

"We encourage people to take precautions and we obviously have a lot of amenities and service providers here," says Sullivan.

Guests can use the SunFest mobile app to see where each concession stand is on the grounds. Sullivan says guests can bring a sealed water bottle into the festival as well.
