A West Palm Beach teenager faces two counts of attempted murder after police say he tried to shoot his father and sister.

The Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office is charging 16-year-old Trayvonn Foster as an adult.

Foster got into an argument with his family on Easter Sunday that ended with him trying to shoot them, according to West Palm Beach police.

Police say his father and sister were able to dodge the bullets.

Both of them were in court Tuesday for the teen’s first appearance. They say the 16-year-old didn't mean any harm.

“If he was trying to kill us, he would've killed us,” Trayvonn’s father Verlon Foster said.

Foster's family says he's had anger issues since his mother died last year.

The judge today denied bond for the teenager.
