Third arrest made in deadly West Palm Beach shooting

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A third person has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in West Palm Beach.

46-year-old Willie Garvin was gunned down September 7, in the 600 block of 3rd St.  One other person was hurt in the shooting.

Lataj M. Banks, 23, is latest person facing charges of first degree premeditated murder.

Brandon Deshad Mills, 27, and Anthony Jamal Williams, 21, both West Palm Beach residents, were previously charged in Garvin's death.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Garvin was shot in the face and head.

Investigators say more than 65 bullets were fired at bystanders, a home and cars in the attack.
