Many of our neighbors like to give back, not just at holidays, but year around.
According to a study done by the company Smart Asset, who looked at 2016 income tax returns, Martin Palm Beach and Indian River counties residents ranked among the top 5 most generous.
Palm Beach County came in third place, followed by Martin and Indian River counties.
Ranked 1st place was Collier County, where 58 percent of residents gave back to their community.
