Two juvenile inmates captured after escape

Two juvenile inmates have been captured in West Palm Beach Sunday, according to West Palm Beach Police Department Spokesperson Lori Colombino.

The incident happened at approximately 10:45 a.m. 

Officers received a report that  two males were in the bushes wearing tan scrubs in the area of 44th Street and Irvin Ave.

Shortly after, the Department of Juvenile Justice reported to police that two inmates had escaped from the assessment center 

The inmates fled on foot but were found, with the assistance of PBSO K-9, in a backyard along the 5700 block of Driftwood St. 

Both males, whose names were not released, are in custody. 

One escapee was transported back to the Department of Juvenile assessment center, the second sustained a dog bite and was transported to a local hospital. 

Both males will be charged with Felony Escape and Resisting Arrest.
