Smash Mouth gained fame in the 90s with hits like "All Star," "I'm A Believer, "Can't Get Enough Of You Baby," "Walkin' On The Sun," and "Why Can't We Be Friends?"

"We're confident the entire Super Clematis By Night crowd will be bobbing their heads and tapping their feet to the familiar beats," said Mayor James at a news conference.

In addition, Florida-based rock band Big Sky will open for Smash Mouth, Mayor James announced.

The Super Clematis By Night celebration will happen on Thursday, Jan. 30, just days before Super Bowl LIV kicks off at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

City officials said this is the fourth time the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee has selected Clematis By Night to be the place for its Palm Beach County pre-party.

"We are going long! We are going for the touchdown, the Hail Mary, here in Palm Beach County," said County Administrator Verdenia Baker.

Baker added the Super Bowl will provide a huge economic boost to our area.

"South Florida's last Super Bowl in 2010 generated $234 million of direct visitor spending, and over $12 million of that spending occurred in the Palm Beaches" said Baker.

Super Clematis By Night will feature football-themed activities, a turf playing field, marching bands, bouncy obstacle courses, NFL players and mascots, giveaways, and much more.

The event will be held on the waterfront at 101 N. Clematis St. from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Jan. 30.

You can watch Super Bowl LIV on our partner station, WFLX FOX 29, on Sunday, Feb. 2.
