WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A West Palm Beach police officer called it a career on Wednesday, signing off in an emotional moment caught on camera.
The police department tweeted a video of Master Police Officer Alphonso Brat saying goodbye to his friends and co-workers.

Brat was all smiles as he called out his "10-7" (out of service) after servicing 28 years for the West Palm Beach Police Department.
Amid tears and congratulations, the veteran officer was praised for his "dedication, service and sacrifice to the citizens of West Palm Beach."
Thank you Officer Brat, and enjoy your retirement!
