Detectives are investigating a shooting that took place shortly after 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Jog Road and Roebuck Court.
The preliminary investigation revealed the adult male victim flagged down a citizen who called 911.
The victim is recovering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound at St. Mary's Medical Center.
