The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says a 42-year-old woman is facing charges after a crash that killed a man in suburban West Palm Beach earlier this year.
The crash happened on June 11 just before 2 a.m. along Westgate Avenue.
According to the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office, 36-year-old James Grinder was traveling eastbound on Westgate Avenue, between Seminole Boulevard and Tallahassee Avenue when his 2009 Toyota pickup struck a Kia Sedan driven by Dina Brown of suburban West Palm Beach.
Brown was driving westbound in the eastbound inside lane when the collision happened.
Grinder died at the scene. Brown and her 10-year-old passenger were transported to St. Mary's Medical Center for additional treatment.
Officials say alcohol and/or drugs played a role in the crash.
Brown was arrested Wednesday on the following charges stemming from the fatal wreck:
1. DUI Manslaughter.
2. Vehicular Homicide.
3. DUI Causing Serious Bodily Injuries to Another.
4. Reckless Driving Causing Serious Bodily Injuries to Another.
5. DUI Causing Property Damage to Another.
6. Reckless Driving Causing Property Damage to Another
