John William Laverack Jr.: Indian River County deputies searching for missing man

Indian River County deputies are searching for 42-year-old John William Laverack Jr..

Laverack was last seen by his employer during the week of April 16. He was last heard from via text on Sunday, April 16, at approximately 1:30 a.m. 

He is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. 

According to a news release from the sheriff's office, Laverack is homeless in Vero Beach. 

Officials say Laverack's vehicle has been located. He left his cellular phone and keys inside the vehicle, but his wallet and backpack that he has been seen with on a daily basis are missing from the vehicle.

It's unknown if Laverack has any weapons on him.
