VERO BEACH, Fla. — This week is National Public Gardens Week, a time to highlight the importance of building vibrant, relevant gardens and their importance to the community.
Events and deals are scheduled across the country including the Treasure Coast and South Florida.
The McKee Botanical Garden in Vero Beach has a buy one admission, get one free from May 14 to May 19.
Also, the Heathcote Botanical Gardens in Fort Pierce has free admission to a bonsai curator-guided tour on May 14, billed as the “largest public assemblage of tropical bonsai on public display in the U.S."
