Authorities say one person died and two others were injured in a crash Thursday afternoon in Indian River County.
A Dodge Durango was heading north on 43rd Ave., near 2nd Street, crossed the center line, and collided with a southbound Toyota, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Both drivers were seriously injured and a passenger in the Toyota died, FHP said.
Investigators identified her as 75-year-old Maryann Layne of Fort Pierce.
The crash remains under investigation.
