A restaurant in Sebastian was temporarily closed last week after health inspectors found roach activity and flying insects.

During an Aug. 13 inspection at Mandarin Garden Restaurant, located at 13533 US 1, officials said they found flying insects in the kitchen and food preparation/storage area.
Also, the report said about 10 live roaches were found on the floor of the kitchen under a Wok station. Dead roaches were also found on the premises.
A total of three high-priority violations were found by health inspectors.
The restaurant was allowed to reopen the next day after a second inspection.
