Vero Beach police are investigating what they are calling an apparent accidental drowning.
They say a family member asked them to check on a relative on Poitras Drive Wednesday.
Police arrived around 8:45 a.m. and found 58-year-old Vickie Cooper in the pool.
Investigators say there was no evidence of foul play and it appears to be an accidental drowning.
