A Vero Beach man was arrested Tuesday after detectives say he attempted to sell dangerous and addictive drugs in Martin County.

According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, an investigation into methamphetamine sales in Martin County led detectives to 26-year-old Dylan Dakota Summerfield.

Summerfield was busted after he showed up at a gas station just off of Federal Highway for a 'meth deal' worked up by special investigators and detectives.

Detectives also conducted a search warrant at the Martin County motel where  Summerfield was staying at and found over 6 grams of meth, heroin capsules, alprazolan, heroin, suboxone, over 10 grams of GHB and drug paraphernalia.

According to officials, Summerfield also had 4 mg of Narcan, which is used to reverse an overdose.

Detectives believe most, if not all, of the drugs were intended to be sold in Martin County.

Summerfield was booked at the Martin County Jail.
