A Vero Beach High School basketball player had the crowd erupting in cheers Tuesday night when he sank a near full court shot.
Selvin Lopez took an inbound pass with just seconds left in the second quarter against Melbourne Central Catholic High School, dribbled once, and hurled the basketball almost the full length of the court, nailing an impressive shot.

The crowd broke out in cheers, and the entire Fighting Indians basketball team ran over to Lopez with excitement.
Even the referees and the Melbourne Central Catholic head coach couldn't help but be impressed.
With the incredible shot, Vero Beach took a 41-28 lead into halftime, and ended up winning the preseason game, 72-48.
