MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. — Martin County school leaders want to hear from you, before they decide who the new Superintendent of Schools will be.

The School District is working with the Florida School Boards Association to conduct the search for a new Superintendent who will begin working Nov. 17. Martin County voters passed a referendum in Nov. 2018 which gave the Martin County School Board the authority to appoint the Superintendent of schools.

A community forum will be held Feb. 24 at Jensen Beach High School at 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The board is looking for you to share your opinions on the qualities and priorities of the county's next superintendent.

You can also fill out an online survey questionnaire here.

The questionnaire is anonymous and it’s available in English and Spanish. There will also be an opportunity to share written comments at the end of the survey.
