MCSO seeking to identify bank robbery suspect

Martin County Sheriff's Office detectives are seeking to identify a suspect in Thursday's robbery of a Chase Bank located at 5955 SE Federal Hwy. in Stuart.

The man walked into the bank shortly before 4 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash. He then took the money and fled.

The sheriff’s office says the man is black, about 5-foot-8-inches tall with a thin build. They estimate him to be between 30 and 50 years of age. During the robbery, he was wearing baggy blue jeans, a black button up shirt, and a faded black baseball cap.
