STUART, Fla. -- The Martin County Sheriff's Office has arrested two teens in connection with separate written threats found at two Martin County schools.

One teen wrote a threat on a desk at Hidden Oaks Middle School, another on a desk at Martin County High School.

Officials deemed the threats non-credible.

Thursday afternoon, a 14-year-old student confessed to school resource officers about making a written threat at Martin County High School, and was arrested and charged with a felony.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office reminds parents to explain to children that all threats of violence in our schools, whether they are deemed to be credible or not, will be taken seriously and dealt with swiftly.
