STUART, Fla. -- A Stuart man was fatally injured when the vehicle he was repairing rolled forward, striking him.
Florida Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Jonathan X. Lockett was attempting to repair an unknown mechanical malfunction on his 2007 GMC Yukon as it sat in a driveway on Friday, August 10, 2018.
According to Lockett's father, while Jonathan was underneath the vehicle it rolled down the driveway and struck him.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
