Swimming is off limits Friday to three Martin County beaches due to the discovery of blue-green algae.
The county said Jensen Beach, Stuart Beach and Bathtub Beach were closed to swimming as of 2:30 p.m. because of visible blue-green algae in the water.
Double red-flags will be displayed as a result.
Other Martin County beaches with lifeguards are open.
Beachgoers can call the Martin County Beach Information Hotline at 772- 320-3112 to check for beach conditions.
