JUPITER, Fla. — A fatal crash caused backups Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 95 in Jupiter.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a 39-year-old Jupiter woman died when she lost control of her SUV around 12:30 p.m., causing it to flip over multiple times in the northbound lanes, one mile south of Indiantown Road.
FHP said the woman was not wearing a seatbelt.
Three left northbound lanes of I-95 were blocked for hours, but reopened before 5 p.m.
