One suspect in custody after shooting and crash in Jupiter

UPDATE: Officials say one suspect is in custody following a shooting and a crash in Jupiter Monday. 

According to Jupiter Police, shots were fired at a vehicle. The suspect tried to flee from police and was eventually arrested in Jupiter. 

Three other car crashes were caused as a result of this incident. 

No injuries have been reported.

EARLIER STORY: 

There's a heavy police presence in Jupiter a few blocks south of Toney Penna Drive & Military Trail.

Police have set up crime scene tape near a damaged BMW sport-utility vehicle.

There is also a damaged police car with broken windows nearby. It's unclear if that is also part of the investigation.

Both Jupiter police and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office are on the scene.
