JUPITER, Fla. — A powerful scene happened Thursday evening outside Jupiter Medical Center.
Palm Beach County firefighters saluted the medical workers in Jupiter during the 7 p.m. shift change.
A full parade of fire vehicles with sirens and flashing lights showed their appreciation for the hospital team working in the frontlines with COVID-19 patients.
"These are our partners, we work with them everyday. We see them everyday in the emergency department and the team was so thrilled to see this happen tonight. Their hearts were so warmed and they were so thankful," said Carol Milliken, director of emergency department.
Jupiter police also took the time to say thank you from one team of heroes to another.
We cannot express our gratitude enough for the amazing salute we received from @PBCFR, @PBGardensFire, @TequestaFR and the Jupiter Police Department. Thank you for your ongoing service and dedication to the community. #WeAreInThisTogether #HealthCareHeroes https://t.co/KEYV60rDkY
