The fate of a large development project in Jupiter is set to be decided Tuesday.
After months of debate, the town council will vote on whether or not the planning and zoning commission will move forward with the controversial Love Street project.
As part of the Jupiter Inlet Village Redevelopment Plan, developers want to bring restaurants, shops and vacation rentals to Love Street, which is right off of A1A near other popular bars and restaurants.
Many people who live in the area have spoken out against the project. Residents say the town is becoming too developed, and they don't want the Love Street Project to do away with the quiet, laid back vibe in the area.
If the project moves forward, the city hopes it will attract more tourists.
