JUPITER, Fla. — A fisherman spotted a great white shark near Jupiter on Tuesday.
Christopher Holsinger says he was seven miles off-shore in 300 foot deep water when he spotted the shark.
He quickly broke out his waterproof camera to capture the shark above and below the water.
It's not unusual for great whites to call southern waters home during winter and sightings are common near popular fishing and diving spots in Florida through spring. It is unusual to see them during summer.
