One person was killed and two injured following a two-vehicle crash at PGA Boulevard and Beeline Highway Saturday morning, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Officials say 20-year-old Zachery Rodriguez from Loxahatchee was driving a 2018 Toyota 4D westbound on PGA Blvd. when he attempted to make a left turn onto southbound Beeline Highway on a red signal.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead on the scene after his vehicle was struck by a 2017 Kenworth driven by 62-year-old Sewell Whittaker, who was traveling north on Beeline Highway.
Rodriguez passenger, 25-year-old Namthip Lucas of Loxahatchee, was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center with critical injuries, officials say.
Whittaker suffered minor injuries.
