PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — Police and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office are investigating an incident at William T. Dwyer Community High School.

Palm Beach Gardens police Maj. Paul Rogers said officers were assisting school police with an incident on campus, but he said all students were safe.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Teri Barbera said her agency was also assisting school police.

The following is a recorded telephone message from Principal Corey Brooks to parents:

"The school is currently in a code yellow, with limited movement, while school police, in coordination with the Palm Beach Gardens PD and PBSO, complete an investigation into a potential threat on campus.

All students and staff are safe. The campus is secure and there are no injuries.

Parents, there is currently a large police presence in the area while law enforcement completes their investigation. We will continue to update you regarding the dismissal process."

Brooks later sent this follow-up message to parents:

Law enforcement has concluded their investigation and given the all-clear for the school to move forward with a regular, on-time dismissal.

Parents, a large police presence remains in front of the school, and that may cause some possible delays. District-operated transportation should be departing campus on time.

Thank you for your patience and your continued support of William T. Dwyer High School.
