The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County was evacuated Monday afternoon after a fire broke out in a recycling bin, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Fire officials arrived at the facility located at 45th Street and reported light smoke.
The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.
Plant operations have temporarily stopped, officials say.
Crews are on the scene, along with SWA officials, investigating the incident.
