PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.-- Thousands of children in Palm Beach County will now have access to the Honda Classic Cares Dental Van.
On Tuesday, Honda Classic Cares presented $1,075,000.00 to the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation.
“What a fabulous thing for our area and so great to get in where the children are underserved,” said chairwoman Barbara Nicklaus.
The generous donation will go towards a mobile dental unit which will serve underserved children in Palm Beach County on a daily basis.
“The ability to give $5.1 million into this community is truly special and that’s really one of the main reasons why we get up every morning and that’s how we really measure our success,” said The Honda Classic Executive Director Ken Kennerly.
The mobile dental unit will start running in November of 2019.
We are so fortunate to have the support of Jack & Barbara and are honored to be able to present @NCHCF with over a million dollars for the 4th consecutive year #HondaClassicCares #NCHF pic.twitter.com/9kwsZ9s5Ex
