Despite the threat for heavy rain Wednesday, the Honda Classic Cares Pro-Am went on as scheduled.
The friendly competition brings celebrity golfers and professionals together for charity.
Among the group of golfers was defending Honda Classic Champ Adam Scott and Rickie Fowler.
Famed jazz musician Kenny G also hit the links. He has been part of the classic for seven years and recently gained bragging rights for his solid swing.
“The guy that’s caddying for me, he did last year too. He told me, 'Your swing is better than it was last year and you’re hitting the ball farther.' I said, ‘Awesome, ain’t that great,’” said Kenny G.
Kenny G will perform at the conclusion of the Pro-Am during their banquet and on Thursday during the Military Appreciation concert. It is free to the public.
