The Palm Beach County Health Department is investigating a possible norovirus outbreak at Palm Beach Gardens Elementary School.

Health department spokesman Tim O'Connor said about 60 students have called out sick or have been sent home because of illness the past two days.

The health department has dispatched a team to sanitize the school.

Parents are urged to keep their children hydrated.  Students showing signs of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea are asked to stay home for 48 hours.
