Palm Beach Gardens police officers say they are following several leads after two young men were caught on mall security footage, one knocking over a Palm Beach County Food Bank display and the other shooting a video of it.

According to a spokesman for the police department, officers have received a lot of calls from community members with tips on who it could have been.

Security footage outside of Saks Fifth Avenue at the Gardens Mall also picked up a shot of the car the young men got in, along with its Pennsylvania license plate. Investigators are working to track down the owner of the car.

Hundreds of cans were knocked down. For health code reasons, the food bank can't give out cans that have been badly dented to families in need. Several hundred new cans had to be bought to get the display back up.

Palm Beach County Food Bankspokesman Perry Borman says the public has been very supportive since the incident.

"We're starting to get emails and phone calls from people that just want to help us," Borman says. "So at the end of the day, that's a good thing."
