State inspectors say they found one dead rodent between the cooler and freezer last week, temporarily shutting down the place.

During the March 19 inspection, they also found evidence of someone smoking in the food prep area. Two partially-smoked cigarettes were found on the kitchen floor, the report says.

Also, the inspection says chlorine sanitizer was not at proper, minimum strength for manual washing and "utensils not properly sanitized."

Two high-priority violations were found along with 11 basic violations and three intermediate violations.

Joey's Supreme Pizza has since reopened after a follow up inspection on March 20.
