Music fans will be excited to hear that a big three-day festival is coming to South Florida early next year.
Details were released Thursday regarding the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, scheduled to be held March 4-6 on 848 acres called Sunshine Grove.
Touted as the "biggest-ever camping festival," the event will feature more than 80 artists, bands and DJs from around the world on five stages.
Organizers say an initial artist line-up will be announced soon.
Festival attractions will include a white-sand lakeside-swimming beach and bar, wooded VIP camping areas and various art installations.
Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will also feature locally-sourced treats from popular food trucks and craft beer makers.
Environmental and other socially conscious campaigns will be presented, as well as yoga, meditation, and holistic workshops.
"Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will offer something truly special. Sunshine Grove is the most naturally beautiful festival site in the country and we're transforming it into a magical new world of music, food, art, and creativity. I can't wait to share with fans what we're cooking up," said festival organizer Paul Peck of Soundslinger LLC.
