PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said a 79-year-old driver was killed Sunday night after a single-vehicle wreck in western Delray Beach.
PBSO said a 2019 Hyundai Sonata, driven by Gerald Miller, of Sunrise, Florida, was traveling southbound on Hagen Ranch Road south of Lake Ida Road.
For an unknown reason, the car drifted to the right and struck the curb with the passenger-side tires.
PBSO said the vehicle continued southwest and traversed the curb and sidewalk before striking a wall. This collision caused the car to overturn, landing upside down just north of the intersection of Stirling Bridge Boulevard.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
