A well-known 19-year-old baseball player from Boca Raton is dead after being involved in a crash last week while riding his motorcycle in northern Broward County, the Broward County Sheriff’s office says.
The wreck happened Aug.1 on West Hillsboro Boulevard near Interstate 95 when Tyler Gusow was riding home from work.
Friends and family said Gusow loved his family, music and cars. He also played baseball at Spanish River High School, they say.
His family says his funeral, which is open to the public, will be held Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Babione Funeral Home in Boca Raton. After the service, they will be gathering at the Black Rose Irish Pub located in Boca Raton.
The crash is still under investigation.
