An elderly man was killed in an I-95 crash Wednesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Officials say 80-year-old Byron Louis Lefenvre of West Palm Beach was traveling northbound approaching Palmetto Park Road when he veered off the road and toward the grass shoulder.
He struck a palm tree and died at the scene, FHP said.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
