BOCA RATON, Fla. — Boca Helping Hands 2020's "Thanksgiving Box Brigade" program had a busy weekend.
The organization provided turkeys and a box filled with meal preparations to more than 2,700 families this weekend.
Boca Helping Hands usually distributes 2,000 turkeys and Thanksgiving meal boxes.
This year they expanded to four locations with the additional families that registered for food assistance due to COVID-19.
