Police in Boca Raton arrested a man they say stabbed his ex-husband's new partner.

Arrest reports show Walt Wilson was living with his ex-husband's mom in an apartment on the 600 block of NW 13th Street.

Last night, the ex-husband came to visit his mom and brought his new partner, according to an arrest report.

Witnesses told police Wilson got angry, telling the new partner he was not welcome in the apartment.

Wilson's ex-husband told police he thought he had gotten the situation under control. Moments later Wilson came out of a bedroom with a kitchen knife and stabbed his ex-husband's new partner in the right side of his body, according to witness accounts of the incident.

Wilson, 46, is charged with aggravated battery.

Police say paramedics took the victim to the emergency room. He is expected to be okay.
