BOCA RATON, Fla. -- A Boca Raton man is facing child pornography charges after investigators with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office seized his computers.
Investigators determined that the IP address used by Mitchell Scott Rosenblatt, 66, was being used to share digital movie files involving the sexual conduct of minors on dates ranging from 12/23/15 through 8/16/16.
The Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office issued a subpoena to Rosenblatt's internet provider to obtain subscriber information and IP logs.
On January 31, 2017, a search warrant was executed at Rosenblatt's Boca Raton residence where investigators located 3 devices.
An on-scene preview of the devices met with negative results in locating images or video involving sexual conduct of minors.
However, digital forensics later located numerous child pornographic videos on all 3 devices.
Mitchell Rosenblatt faces 7 counts of Possession of the Sexual Performance by a Child.
