The Florida Atlantic University football game originally scheduled for Saturday at 3:30 p.m. against Charlotte at FAU Stadium has been postponed, according to an FAU report.
The game is tentatively rescheduled for Sunday, October 9 at noon. Final determination will be made after the storm system has passed through the Boca Raton area and post-assessment has been made.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is in the path of Hurricane Matthew,” said Pat Chun, vice president and director of athletics. “Supporting our community, state and region is the current focus of FAU Athletics. We thank our friends at Charlotte for their understanding and assistance."
